We had a really informative and eyeopening Remembrance Day Assembly today. Please ensure you talk to your child about what they saw and felt during the assembly. Yesterday we read and went over the importance of learning about History. We read and spoke about the poem In Flanders Fields by John McCrae. Many student spoke of the stories they had heard from relatives and friends that had been to war. Student then had a choice to write or draw about how they want to 'Remember' from the sacrifices of Canadians who fought for our democracy and freedom. We also practiced our blending with pencil as an Art Lesson. Comments are closed.
